Install the app

Scan the QR code to download Switch Plus APP for Android and iOS System. Or you can search and download the APP named as ‘Switch Plus’ from Apple store or Google Play.

Power on the device

Power on the device

Once the device is powered on, it can be set to network configuration mode in two ways. EZ or AP mode. Default mode is EZ. Press and hold reset or power button to toggle between EZ and AP modes. Check device manual if there are no buttons to press. 

Choose your preferred mode and launch your app. 

EZ mode

  1. Launch the Switch Plus APP and login, Click Add Devices -> All -> to start pairing the device.
  2. Enter the Wi-Fi SSID and password of the Wi-Fi network that the device is going to work with, then wait for 60 seconds for pairing to finish and device is ready.
  3. Follow the on App prompts to change the device name and set sharing with family.
  4. Tap on the device to access the UI. Here you can turn ON/OFF or set schedules and timer.
Choose your preferred mode and launch your app.
Pair Smart Home device to WiFi using AP Mode

AP mode

  1. Once the device is powered on, press and hold reset or power button to switch to AP mode. Check device manual if there are no buttons to press. 
  2. Launch your app and Click Add Devices -> All -> to start pairing the device. Choose the device WiFi (typically SwitchPlus-XXXX) and follow the on screen prompts. Allow 60 seconds for pairing to finish. 
  3. Follow the on App prompts to change the device name and set sharing with family.
  4. Tap on the device to access the UI. Here you can turn ON/OFF or set schedules and timer.

Do and Don'ts

  1. Ensure your WiFi is 2.4Ghz. Works with 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz wireless network (no hub required).
  2. Make sure your app and device are connected to the same WiFi network.
  3. For EZ mode, confirm device indicator is blinking rapidly. 
  4. For AP mode, confirm device indicator is blinking slowly (3 blinks per second).

Troubleshoot

  1. Make sure your Wi-Fi network is 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz;
  2. Make sure the device and App are in same Wi-Fi Configuration mode: EZ or AP;
  3. Make sure your input SSID and password of the Wi-Fi network are correct;
  4. Make sure Wi-Fi internet connection is working fine;
  5. Make sure the device is powered on;
